The Avast VPN client on desktops and Android devices can choose automatically the most suitable protocol for your connection. It first tries connecting via OpenVPN and then switches to Mimic If that is unsuccessful. This isn’t, in my opinion, the most effective way to choose the right protocol. It would be more beneficial if you could give the user the option to choose a preferred protocol and tell you how successful it has been.
